A magnificent coastal community in central California, Talisman Bay was founded in 1869 and has become known internationally for our natural scenic beauty, temperate climate, cultural resources and blossoming tourist industry.

Talisman Bay is the home of the Talisman Bay Boardwalk–fun for the entire family and open year-round! Enjoy the fresh ocean air while you stroll along the pier, grab a bite to eat and drop in at one of the many stores, offering a wide-variety of unique and eclectic merchandise to tempt you to take a memory of the bay home with you. Relax with a sunset walk along our beautiful coastline and see why we won the California’s Undiscovered Coastline Award in 2006. Or if you’re in the mood for something spooky, book one of a variety of walking excursions with the Talisman Bay Supernatural Society and enjoy listening to tales of our ghostly history and other chilling unearthly delights. Night time tours are their specialty.
